Responsibility
How it is run
UniFi and similar platforms are common in the environments we manage. The service is not tied to one vendor. We will not claim guaranteed uptime. Lines fail. The work is to notice, own the diagnosis, and recover.
Secure configuration
Defaults that are not left at factory settings.
Firmware
Equipment updated on a cycle, not only after a vendor advisory lands in the press.
Monitoring and documentation
A diagram that matches the rack, and enough visibility to see a circuit die.
Lifecycle
Firewalls and wireless that will not last forever, planned rather than surprised.
Supplier coordination
ISP and other vendors involved without leaving you as the go-between.
