What We Manage

Devices

A device is not a purchase. It is something that must be deployed, configured, patched, supported and retired. Radius manages that lifecycle. Hardware supply can be part of the work. It is not the proposition.

Scope

What we stay with

Standard configuration

Fewer special cases. Faster support. Safer defaults.

Application management

What is installed on purpose, and what should not be.

Onboarding and offboarding

The device and the account move together with employment.

Warranty visibility

Useful when planning refresh. Not a substitute for a plan.

How Radius manages it

  1. Understand

What exists, who uses it, and what the business actually depends on.

  2. Standardise

A known configuration, documented, rather than every machine being a special case.

  3. Protect

Identity, devices, backup and proportionate controls built into the way it is run.

  4. Monitor

Watch health and change, so problems are noticed before they become a queue of people.

  5. Support

When something fails, stay with it. Coordinate suppliers. Tell the business plainly.

  6. Improve

Remove repeated faults, plan the next refresh, and stop work that no longer earns its place.

Responsibility

The life of an endpoint

Hardware supply can be part of the work. It is not the proposition.

  1. Deploy

A known build, not a box opened at a desk with whatever defaults Microsoft shipped.

  2. Configure

Encryption, identity, updates and the applications the job actually needs.

  3. Inventory

What is out there, who has it, and whether it is still in support.

  4. Maintain

Patching, endpoint protection, monitoring and remote support when people are not in the office.

  5. Refresh

Replacement planned from age, condition and warranty — not from the next failure.

  6. Retire

Access removed, data handled, the machine wiped or destroyed. A leaver is not a forgotten laptop.

Our standard

Devices are part of the Radius Standard: known, configured, patched and replaced on purpose.
