What We Manage
Managed
IT
A helpdesk that waits for a call is not a managed service. Radius takes responsibility for the health of the environment we agree to manage — and for staying with problems until they have a clear resolution. That is an operating relationship. It is not unlimited project work.

Scope
What the operating relationship covers
Within the agreed environment, this is the work Radius stays with.
Day-to-day support
The issues people hit while doing their jobs, handled by someone who remains accountable.
Monitoring
Health and obvious failure, so the first signal is not always a queue of staff.
Patching and maintenance
The unglamorous cycle that keeps known problems from becoming incidents.
Documentation
What exists, how it is configured, and who to call — written down, not implied.
Incident ownership
Stay with the fault. Coordinate suppliers. Tell the business what is happening.
Joiners and leavers
Access and devices that match employment, not leftover accounts from last year.
Asset visibility
A working view of what is in the estate, not a spreadsheet last touched at year-end.
Change
Work that alters the environment is done on purpose, with a record of what moved.
Lifecycle and reporting
What is ageing, what is due, and a plain account of the period — not theatre.
Continuity
Backup, recovery thinking and the dependencies the business cannot work without.
How Radius manages it
- Understand
What exists, who uses it, and what the business actually depends on.
- Standardise
A known configuration, documented, rather than every machine being a special case.
- Protect
Identity, devices, backup and proportionate controls built into the way it is run.
- Monitor
Watch health and change, so problems are noticed before they become a queue of people.
- Support
When something fails, stay with it. Coordinate suppliers. Tell the business plainly.
- Improve
Remove repeated faults, plan the next refresh, and stop work that no longer earns its place.
Responsibility
Reactive IT is not the same as managed technology
Projects — a migration, a refresh, a new site — are scoped as work, not assumed to be inside day-to-day management. If it changes the shape of the estate, we will say so before it starts.
01
The estate is known, watched and maintained.
02
Incidents are owned, including when another vendor is involved.
03
Change is recorded. Assets are visible.
04
Patching, identity and backup sit inside the same operating rhythm.
05
Improvement is planned, not only hoped for after the next outage.
Our standard
Every Managed IT relationship is measured against the Radius Standard — the operating baseline for what managed properly looks like.
